About the role
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive & Liver Diseases, isseeking a faculty member with a focus on research. The areas of research that we seek should be relevant to basic pathobiology of GI orliver disorders. Basic research programs are preferable, but translational research will be considered. In addition, the faculty member will be involved in the teaching and training of students and trainees of various levels, including graduate and medical students, andclinical and post-doctoral fellows.
The position requires doctoral degree in biomedicine such as MD, MD/PhD, or PhD(or equivalent degrees), completion of a post-doctoral research fellowship, and the ability to establish an independent and externallyfunded research program.
