Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: Arkansas City, KS (Onsite)
Duration: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Job Description: This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of workplace safety and knows how to build a culture around it — not just enforce a checklist.
What You'll Do:
  • Build and manage EHS programs that keep the company compliant with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations
  • Lead audits and inspections, then turn findings into real improvements
  • Own incident investigations from root cause to corrective action
  • Train employees and leadership on safety best practices
  • Track EHS metrics to guide smarter safety decisions
  • Keep emergency response plans current and tested
  • Mentor site-level safety staff or coordinators
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree (Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related — Master's a plus)8+ years of EHS experience, including 3+ years leading a team or program
  • Solid grasp of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and ISO 14001/45001 standards
  • Manufacturing background in food & beverageEHS certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred)
