The Field Project Manager will be the primary point of contact in managing these complex, multi-faceted projects and will be heavily involved in managing customer relationships.Location:This position will be based remotely within the United States from your home-based office, preferably in states such as IN, MN, MO, IA, or TN. Candidate’s must reside within one hour of a major airport as this position will require up to 50% travel.Specifically, the Field Project Manager will:Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects from initiation through to delivery and commissioningSupport customers in solving complex problems, as well as provide customer training and technical on-site supportProvide leadership to multiple stakeholders to define requirements, establish system design, coordinate deliveries and report to customersOversee systems integration – specifically, work with customer utilities in integrating TRUConnect AMI to other utility vendor systemsNegotiate, implement, and supervise subcontracts, when requiredRegularly review and report on project performance to management and other stakeholdersWhat you Bring:Education and Experience:A Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Systems), or other related field6+ years of experience managing the operation, deployment and/or installation of large, multi-faceted projects in large IT, telemetry, control or communications systems/networksCustomer/stakeholder management experienceA PMP designation is preferredExperience in AMI/AMR, RF or Wireless communications is an assetPersonal Attributes Required: A demonstrated aptitude for understanding complex technical communication systems and technology in a short timeAttention to detail, deadlines and strong problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently while exercising proactivity, flexibility and good judgementStrong organizational, planning and follow-through skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects, tasks, stakeholders and remain  focused in a fast paced, high volume work environmentAbility to manage dynamic external and internal stakeholder relationshipsExcellent collaborative and interpersonal skillsProficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skillsIf you possess some of the key skills and experiences outlined in the job posting and are genuinely interested in the position, we invite you to take a chance and submit your application.
