About the Role:
We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician (LPC or LCSW) to provide onsite counseling and therapeutic support to K-12 students in a specialized educational setting. This role focuses on working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral, emotional, learning, and psychiatric challenges while collaborating closely with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy for students with behavioral, emotional, learning, and psychiatric disabilities. Support students dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns. Conduct crisis intervention and suicide prevention counseling. Complete clinical documentation, treatment notes, and crisis reports. Partner with parents, teachers, psychologists, and support staff to develop student support plans. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide recommendations for therapeutic interventions. Help advocate for and educate stakeholders on student mental health needs.
Required Qualifications:
Active LPC or LCSW license. Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.1-3+ years of behavioral health therapy experience. Experience working with children and adolescents. Experience treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and crisis-related cases. Experience documenting crisis reports and clinical records. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
