About the role

Senior Full-Stack Engineer | Series B Healthtech | NYC (Hybrid) A recently funded Series B company is building the clinical operating system for MSK and specialty care clinics. The platform covers patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and ongoing patient engagement.
The Role: You'll own the core product end to end in a single TypeScript monorepo: Vue 3 on the frontend, Express and MongoDB on the backend, and shared packages in between. The hardest problems come from messy clinical data and real patient behavior, not algorithms. The team works contract-first, so API schemas are shared and type-checked on both the frontend and backend.
What You'll Do:
  • Build Vue 3 (Composition API) screens on an internal component library
  • Design contract-first API routes with shared schemas
  • Model clinical and patient data in MongoDB so it stays fast as it scales
  • Contribute to shared TypeScript packages used across the codebase
  • Take features from spec to production and support them once they're live
Required 5+ years shipping production web apps Strong TypeScript across the stack, plus hands-on Vue 3 Node, Express, and MongoDB/Mongoose experience Strong grasp of query performance, indexing, and schema design A track record of improving large existing codebases instead of rewriting them
Nice to Have:
  • Clinical workflow knowledge or HL7/FHIR/EHR integration experience
  • Twilio, LiveKit, or OpenAI API experience
  • Monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx)
  • Real-time or streaming apps
  • Workflow orchestration (Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions)
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
