About the role

A creative agency needs a freelance paid media buyer to run campaigns across roughly four consumer brand accounts. Google, Meta, and Tik Tok are the priority platforms. The team is small and mostly remote, and this role exists because they have more paid media work than their in-house media group can absorb, without enough to justify a full-time hire.
What you'll do: Build and run paid campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Tik Tok Ads across several client accounts- Own pacing and budget accuracy across those accounts, week to week- Set tracking and naming conventions correctly at launch so the reporting holds up three months later- Run structured tests on creative, audience, format, and bidding, and write up what you learn- Turn performance data into recommendations the account and creative teams can act on- Maintain billing trackers, chase discrepancies, reconcile actualizations What we're looking for- 3+ years buying and managing paid media in-platform, not planning it from a deck- Hands-on with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Tik Tok Ads- Comfortable running several accounts at once with no daily direction- Fluent in media math: pacing, CPMs, budget reconciliation, hitting defined KPIs- Google Analytics Nice to have- Microsoft, Pinterest, Snapchat, Amazon, Instacart, programmatic (Trade Desk), streaming TV- Looker Studio or Supermetrics- Google Tag Manager, Shopify- DTC, retail, or e-comm brands- Agency background The details- Hours: 10 to 20 per week, with room to grow- Location: fully remote, US-based only. Available 9 to 5 in any US time zone- Type: ongoing freelance. The client has said this could turn into a full-time role if it works on both sides- Tools: Slack, Notion, Figma

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
