Role Description: The Director of Strategic Finance, Consumer SaaS will lead financial planning and analysis to support Homeaglow’s growth and profitability in a consumer subscription environment. This full-time remote role includes owning long-term financial models, budgeting processes, and scenario analyses to guide strategic decisions. The role involves preparing and interpreting financial statements and reports, partnering with leadership to evaluate product, pricing, and marketing initiatives, and developing metrics and dashboards that track performance. The director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize unit economics, manage forecasting cycles, support fundraising or investor reporting as needed, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in Finance, including experience with SaaS or consumer subscription business models.
  • Expert-level Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including management and board-level presentations.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI platforms); familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or marketplace environment and comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, data-driven setting.
