Associate/Senior Associate, Development
Division: Development - Department: Project Development
Reports to: Director, Development - Direct Reports: NO
Location: Albany/NYC/Remote (IL/MI/IN) - Travel: 20-40%Position Purpose: This role is a full-time, exempt position at the Associate/Senior Associate level, responsible for advancing projects in multiple regions. This role requires an analytical and detailed self-starter to manage internal resources and teams of consultants, as well as supporting the needs of more senior developers. The successful individual will use initiative to progress complex projects and assist in the achievement of development milestones, from greenfield prospecting and acquisition to construction-ready status in support of Key Capture Energy's objectives. This position requires travel to project locations to meet landowners, permitting officials, and local officials.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
Years of experience: 1-3 years of proven development experience in the renewable sector, preferably within Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
