Only LOCAL CANDIDATEJob DescriptionSeeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support overall project administration in the evolution of a state government department of motor vehicle enterprise software application suite. This position will require broad cross-domain and cross-disciplinary expertise in assisting with scheduling, tracking, and measurements that is used to manage the implementation of the department's software solution.The Project Coordinator will work directly with the Project Management Team, in an interactive environment with business and technical staff to ensure a high degree of collaboration in support of a successful overall solution. Responsibilities for this role will include assisting the PM Team in maintaining a forward looking implementation task list, ensuring compliance against milestones, and managing estimates versus actual effort and deliverables.In addition and while not a significant portion of job responsibilities, a wide range of general project support duties (meeting facilitation, event coordination, etc.) may be required. This is an exciting project role where hands-on collaboration is required.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in assisting with the overall project coordination and implementation of a large enterprise business application. Minimum 2 years of experience managing Microsoft Team Foundation Server including the creation, tracking and reporting of micro-level tasks.PreferredBachelor's degree in a business or technology related discipline. Experience with the integration of Microsoft Project to other Microsoft adjacent products (i.e. Sharepoint, Team Foundation Server, etc.). Ability to develop and manage software measures and metrics to support a master project plan's milestones, timeline and effort projections. Ability to analyze project plan / task information and reports in order to derive any potential overage, underage and / or constraint.Experience in working directly with project leads/teams to resolve project constraint issues as well as reinforcing project timelines / deliverables. Ability to facilitate team meetings and capture feedback from discussions to assist in project improvements. Strong skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources. Must be willing to follow existing project management direction.Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as required. Must have a comprehensive understanding of System Development Life Cycle. Prefer minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Project. Understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes. Must demonstrate a proactive desire to learn and show initiative. Must demonstrate flexibility and possess a demeanor compatible with a support position Candidate must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
