Salesforce Software Engineer | AI, Automation & Financial Technology Hybrid | New York City or Los Angeles Join a high-performing investment management organization managing more than $20 billion in assets and help drive the next generation of AI-enabled business applications. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering, Salesforce, data automation, and artificial intelligence while partnering directly with investment, operations, compliance, accounting, and investor relations teams. We're seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer who can build scalable applications, automate complex business processes, and leverage AI technologies to create innovative solutions across the enterprise.
What You'll Do: Design and develop applications that automate critical business processes across investment management, operations, compliance, accounting, and investor relations. Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using APIs, ETL processes, and modern integration patterns. Configure and enhance Salesforce, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, validation rules, security models, and light Apex development. Develop AI-enabled solutions for document processing, data extraction, workflow automation, and business intelligence. Partner with business stakeholders to transform complex processes into scalable, repeatable technology solutions. Build and support reporting and analytics platforms to improve data quality and decision-making. Troubleshoot and support production applications while continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance and automation.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong expertise with:
  • C#ASP.NET CoreSQL ServerJavaScript/TypeScriptExperience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Python for automation, analytics, and data processing
  • Knowledge of AI/ML workflows, NLP, document processing, or intelligent automation solutions
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL concepts
  • Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and modern development practices
  • Salesforce Experience 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development or administration experienceExperience with Salesforce configuration, automation, and security models
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems via APIs and middleware
  • Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Components, and deployment processes
  • Preferred Experience
  • Investment management, hedge fund, private credit, or fixed-income industry experienceExperience supporting trading, portfolio management, or fund accounting platforms
  • Power BI, Tableau, or enterprise reporting toolsGPT, Claude, or other large language model integrations
  • Azure, GCP, Docker, or modern cloud technologies
  • React, Vue, or modern front-end frameworks

Salary: The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000.
