About the role
Identifying and nurturing opportunities from inbound leads and proactive outbound sales activity, the full-time California Remote Sales Representative will support the sales team, manage customer interactions, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Support the sales staff by generating leads, setting up meetings, and assisting in proposal writing while managing Salesforce reporting and data entry
Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and feedback, generating reports and identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the sales process
Establish relationships across business units to facilitate collaboration and leverage knowledge of Digital Buildings products and services for effective customer engagement
Required qualifications
Hold a four-year engineering or business degree, or possess applicable work experience
Have a technical or engineering background, preferably in building construction, HVAC, or building automation technology
Demonstrate familiarity with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite
Possess an understanding of sales cycles and drivers
Exhibit an inquisitive nature with the ability to understand and digest technical information
