Role Description: The Coach will deliver daily baseball training sessions, focusing on skill development, game strategy, and physical conditioning for players of varying ages and skill levels. Responsibilities include planning and running practices, providing constructive feedback, managing game-day lineups and in-game decisions, and ensuring all activities follow league rules and safety standards. The Coach will collaborate with other staff to design seasonal training plans, communicate regularly with players and families, and support player development tracking. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Daingerfield, TX, requiring consistent availability for practices, games, travel as needed, and occasional weekend or evening activities.
Qualifications: Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, game strategy, and player development techniques. Experience planning and leading practices, managing teams during games, and organizing training programs. Ability to communicate clearly with players, families, officials, and staff, and to provide constructive, motivational feedback. Demonstrated commitment to safety, discipline, and sportsmanship, including adherence to organizational and league policies. Prior coaching or playing experience at youth, high school, collegiate, or club level is highly beneficial. Capacity to work full time on site in Daingerfield, TX, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel for games or tournaments. Basic administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, roster management, and coordination with other coaches. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain; coaching certifications or relevant training are a plus.
