About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Field Relation Manager (FRM) to join our team supporting our Western U.S. territory. The Field Relation Manager is responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships while driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory. In this role, you will serve as a key representative of Abnex in the field, working directly with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, provide product and application solutions, and strengthen long-term partnerships. You will execute the company's sales strategy to achieve sales, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction objectives. This position requires a highly motivated, relationship-focused sales professional who can independently manage a territory while collaborating closely with Sales Support, technical teams, operations, and other internal partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular in-person and virtual meetings, field visits, and ongoing communication
- Manage and grow an assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and increasing market penetration
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and project requirements and connect customers with appropriate Abnex products and solutions
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies and plans aligned with company objectives and growth priorities
- Achieve established sales, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction targets
- Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through quotation, negotiation, and order
- Collaborate with Sales Support and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and opportunities are successfully executed
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, customer activity, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and potential risks
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, territory plans, and other sales reports as required
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements within established company guidelines and approval requirements
- Support the launch of new products and solutions by educating customers, identifying opportunities, and gathering market feedback
- Represent Abnex at regional trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and site visits
- Maintain a strong understanding of Abnex products, applications, competitive positioning, and the markets served
- Proactively address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Continuously develop the territory by establishing relationships with customers, distributors, contractors, engineers, and other key industry stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, territory management, or a related customer-facing role
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing business within an assigned territory
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities, and priorities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Strong business and commercial judgment with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing, electrical, industrial, construction, energy, or engineered-product industries
- Experience selling cable tray, electrical products, engineered solutions, or related products
- Established relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, engineers, consultants, or other industry stakeholders
- Experience managing a multi-state sales territory
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and forecasts
- Experience supporting product launches, trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations
- Knowledge of the construction, electrical, energy, data center, oil and gas, or infrastructure markets
- Pay range and compensation package
- Full-time, salaried position.

- Territory includes CA, AZ, NV, UT, ID, WY, MT, OR, WA, AK, and HIRegular travel throughout the assigned territory
