About the role
The Encompass Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative outpatient orthopedic clinic. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, working alongside an experienced orthopedic team, and helping patients get back to the activities they love.
What You'll Do:
Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Work primarily with orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and treatment programs Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the care team Educate patients on exercises and treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the clinical team
What We're Looking For:
Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Strong interest in outpatient orthopedic care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Passion for providing high-quality, patient-focused care Why This Opportunity?4-day workweek Approximately 80% patient care Collaborative outpatient orthopedic environment Opportunity to work alongside and learn from an experienced orthopedic team Supportive environment focused on patient outcomes and professional growth
