Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment. This position works on industrial production machinery, not vehicles. This is also not a supervisory position and has no direct reports. We are looking for someone who can troubleshoot an electrical problem with a multimeter and then grab their tools to complete the mechanical repair.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and production machinery. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical equipment failures. Perform hands-on mechanical repairs. Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, wiring, and other electrical components. Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical problems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Respond to equipment breakdowns and safely restore equipment to operation. Troubleshoot recurring equipment problems and identify root causes. Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gears, motors, shafts, and other mechanical components. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, modifications, and improvements. Inspect machinery for wear and potential failures. Complete maintenance work orders and documentation. Follow lockout/tagout and all required safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Required Qualifications: Previous hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment. Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience. Ability to use a multimeter and electrical diagnostic tool. Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, relays, switches, wiring, and electrical components. Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment manuals. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to determine whether an equipment failure is electrical, mechanical, or both. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong safety awareness. Ability to work the full rotating day, night, and split-shift schedule Monday through Saturday. Industrial Maintenance Technician Knowledge &

Work Environment: This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around industrial production equipment. The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting, and working around operating machinery.
