Compensation:
$440,000 annually Malpractice: Provided Weekly Caseload: Approximately 15–25 patients Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Facility: 155-bed behavioral health facility Interview: Required – Virtual via Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment. Manage an assigned inpatient caseload. Complete required psychiatric evaluations, 90-day reports, fitness reports, and NGRI reports. Document medication changes and provide monthly progress notes. Meet with patients regularly to review medications and establish individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and provide documentation supporting transfer or discharge. Review seclusion and restraint cases. Testify in court regarding involuntary commitments, fitness to proceed, involuntary medication administration, and other matters as required. Collaborate with nursing, social work, discharge planning, and other members of the treatment team. Participate in committee meetings, peer review, continuing education, and facility quality initiatives. Provide leadership in the management and treatment of assigned patients. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Demonstrate competency in performing required patient holds and interventions.
