FAA - Quality Inspector 2Full-time Oro Valley, AZ Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants. Become a Key Player as a FAA Quality Inspector 2You will ensure finished assemblies and purchased components meet regulatory and quality standards, supporting production and inspection stakeholders across the organization. This is primarily an onsite role (1st shift) with occasional nights, weekends, or variable schedules as needed; the role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Conduct incoming inspections of purchased components and final inspections of finished assemblies and components to ensure compliance with quality standards Perform visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Inspect soldered assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards and harness assemblies Create and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in accordance with AS9102Prepare certifications, Authorized Release Certificates/Tags, and all necessary documentation for acceptance/rejection of inspected items Participate in gathering statistical data from products and processes and maintain inspection and calibration recall records Identify design, process, or other inefficiencies and report quality concerns Perform customer source inspections as required Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may perform additional hours as necessary Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role 2+ years of relevant inspection experience (Aerospace and electronics environments preferred) Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102) and ability to create/review FAIRsAbility to perform visual inspections to IPC-A-610 standards and read technical drawings with multiple views Proficiency with measuring equipment and ability to apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Proficient computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and perform typical light physical tasks required in indoor production facilities Role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing Here's What Else Might Help You OutVocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing environments Pay Range$19.20 - $24.00/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
