Job Description Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician at Climco Coils, a well-established manufacturer of solenoid valves, actuators, and stators serving automotive and industrial markets. Located in Morrison, IL, Climco has been locally owned and continuously operating for seventy-five years. Our facilities feature modern, well-lit, air-conditioned spaces and are situated adjacent to a high-quality child-care center built by Climco, reflecting our commitment to community and employee wellbeing.
Schedule:
Hiring for all three shifts! Off shift pay differentials apply. 1st Shift - Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.2nd Shift - Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.3rd Shift - Sunday night through Thursday night 10:30 pm. to 6:30 a.m. Overtime may be available as production requires.
Responsibilities:
Support assembly and test operations within manufacturing cells Operate and troubleshoot robotics, automated, and semi-automated equipment Partner with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to maximize efficiency and quality Train new operators and provide ongoing technical support Monitor operations and resolve issues in real-time Collaborate regularly with engineering teams on new programs, process improvements, and special projects Develop skills in complex operations such as CNS winding, resistance welding, and injection molding Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles in daily work
Required Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Basic electrical or electronic knowledge and aptitude Previous manufacturing experience Detail-oriented, conscientious, and effective in a team-based environment Eligibility for Associate Engineer, Technician, or Assistant Technician roles depending on education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of manufacturing experience Associate degree in Engineering or related field Mechanical aptitude with electrical knowledge Proven problem solving and process optimization skills Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Strong collaboration skills across teams Quality control experience Climco Coils offers fixed shift schedules with opportunities for skill specialization and career growth within a stable company environment.
