Metric Geo is partnering with a leading water and wastewater treatment organization looking to add a Sales Engineer to its growing Northwest team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the municipal water/wastewater market and specification-driven project cycle and wants to combine their technical expertise with a more commercial, client-facing position.
The Role: Support and develop municipal water/wastewater opportunities across the Northwest Work closely with utilities, consulting engineers and internal technical teams Provide technical support and recommend treatment solutions based on customer requirements Support projects from specification/design through procurement and award Identify opportunities for capital equipment, aftermarket and service sales Deliver technical presentations and build long-term customer relationships Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to grow the territory Ideal Background: Experience within municipal water/wastewater Understanding of specifications, consulting engineers and the municipal project/bid cycle Background in technical sales, applications engineering, project engineering, process engineering or a similar role Experience with water/wastewater treatment equipment or processes Strong technical knowledge paired with a personable, commercial mindset Comfortable with approximately 50% travel Engineering consultants looking to move into technical sales are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior sales experience is not essential if you have strong municipal treatment experience, understand the specification process and enjoy working with clients.
