Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Promotional Products Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales professional with an established book of business, a strong network of corporate clients, and a proven track record of developing creative branded merchandise solutions. This individual will be responsible for generating new revenue, growing existing client relationships, and serving as a trusted branding consultant while delivering exceptional customer service from concept through fulfillment. Sales & Business Development Prospect and develop new corporate accounts through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach. Maintain and grow an existing book of promotional products business. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling. Develop long-term partnerships that result in recurring business. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Consult with clients to understand marketing objectives, events, employee engagement initiatives, and branding needs. Recommend creative promotional products that align with customer goals and budgets. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations. Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts. Industry Expertise Stay current on promotional product trends, supplier offerings, decoration methods, sustainability initiatives, and emerging technologies. Attend industry events, supplier shows, and networking opportunities when appropriate. Continuously identify innovative products that provide value to clients.
Qualifications: Required
Minimum 5 years of promotional products sales experience. Demonstrated success managing and growing a significant book of business. Strong understanding of promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel, and decoration methods. Excellent consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational abilities. Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings. Preferred Existing portfolio of active client relationships. Experience using industry platforms such as ESP, SAGE, Commonsku, DistributorCentral, or similar systems. Knowledge of branded apparel and company stores. Experience working with corporate marketing, HR, procurement, and event professionals. Industry certifications are a plus.
