About the role
Job Description:
We are looking for a creative person who enjoys seeing a project go from an idea on the computer to a finished product in the real world. This is not a sit-at-a-desk-all-day design position. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, operating equipment, solving problems, building and assembling projects, and taking pride in seeing their work come to life. You will work with our team to take projects from concept through design, production, fabrication, installation, and completion. Experience in sign making or graphic production is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Someone who is mechanically inclined, creative, eager to learn, and has a strong work ethic can be very successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
Create professional, production-ready designs for custom signage, vehicle graphics, banners, dimensional lettering, retail displays, and environmental graphics. Prepare artwork and production files with accurate scaling, vector paths, cut lines, bleeds, and other specifications. Operate standard sign-making and production equipment to cut, print, fabricate, assemble, and finish projects. Work with a variety of substrates, vinyl, materials, and production processes. Participate in the hands-on fabrication and assembly of signs, displays, graphics, and other projects. Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs, refine concepts, make revisions, obtain approvals, and manage projects through completion. Organize digital files, production templates, and RIP queue layouts to maximize efficiency and minimize material waste. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Help troubleshoot production challenges and find practical solutions when things don't go exactly as planned. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Take ownership of projects from start to finish and ensure the finished product meets our quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
The right person will: Want to work with their hands and enjoy making tangible things. Have a strong work ethic and take pride in doing a job well. Be dependable, responsible, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Have good communication skills and a common-sense approach to solving problems. Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects. Have an eye for design and strong attention to detail. Be mechanically inclined and comfortable learning how equipment, tools, and production processes work. Be willing to learn new skills and take direction. Be a self-starter who can eventually take ownership of projects and help lead others. Have a valid driver's license. Experience All experience levels are welcome to apply. Sign-making, graphic design, printing, fabrication, construction, automotive, woodworking, manufacturing, or other hands-on experience is helpful, but we are more interested in the right attitude, work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn. If you are creative, mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and want to learn a trade where you can see the results of your work every day, we'd like to meet you. Opportunity to Grow We are looking for someone who can grow with the company and eventually become a team leader, taking increasing responsibility for projects, production, quality, and workflow. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to learn, build, create, and grow and not just sit behind a computer.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
