Job Description: Position: Injection Molding Process Technician
Location: Austell, GA
Schedule: Sunday night–Thursday night, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (3rd shift), with occasional overtime
Pay: Up to $36.00/hr, based on experience
Job Type: Direct Hire Job Summary We are hiring an Injection Molding Process Technician for a client in the Austell, GA area. This 3rd shift role calls for hands-on process troubleshooting, mold setup, and scientific molding expertise — not routine machine operation. The ideal candidate works independently, diagnoses process issues, and drives quality and productivity on the floor.
Responsibilities: Troubleshoot molds and processes for optimal quality, productivity, and mold safety Apply established processing methods such as Scientific Molding or RJG Technology Install and remove molds using a crane Make water line adjustments and complete color and material changes Perform basic daily preventive maintenance on molds Assist injection molding process engineers with mold trials and troubleshooting Drive a forklift as needed Must Haves 3+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience Working knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment Proven ability to troubleshoot molds and processes independently, without direct supervision Experience with established processing methods such as Scientific Molding or RJG Technology Ability to stand/walk 100% of shift, squat/kneel frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation for occasional mold-trial travel
Preferred Skills: Experience using an MRP system for process changes, production reporting, and downtime tracking Forklift experience Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Positive, team-oriented attitude#ZR
