About the Company: Full service Independent Insurance Broker/Agency with offices throughout Michigan.
About the Role
Group Benefits: Account Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience. Position requires a Life & Health insurance license, and individual will fully service an assigned book of business containing small and mid-sized groups, working with Producers, customers, carriers, and othter internal and external partners.
Responsibilities: Process carrier changes Claims handling Prepare renewal proposals and conduct renewal meetings Build open enrollment materials and conduct open enrollment meetings Market and place new and renewal business Communicate with clients regarding their policies
Qualifications: Valid Life & Health Insurance License Minimum of 3 years experience working in group benefits within an independent insurance agency setting Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail Strong team focus Required and
Preferred Skills: Experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management system Account Management within Group Benefits setting Customer service Independent agency experience Pay range and compensation package Compensation package includes competitive salary up to $100k depending on experience, excellent benefit package inclusive of health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, etc. This position is also a fully remote role, but the individual must reside in the state of Michigan
