Communications Fellow

What You’ll Do: Draft and edit communications materials, including press releases, media advisories, talking points, op-eds, social media posts, email copy, and messaging documents Monitor, collect, and organize press clips and media coverage Assist with drafting and distributing press materials, pitching reporters, coordinating interviews, staffing press conferences, and supporting rapid-response media moments Support logistics and communications execution for press conferences and public-facing activations Coordinate with internal creative, communications, and paid media teams to manage timelines, deliverables, and client needs Conduct issue-specific and audience research to support communications strategy

Required Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfort interfacing with clients, media, and external partners Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

NOTE: This position requires in-office attendance Monday-Thursday. Our DC office is located in Metro Center. The hourly compensation for this position is $20, and fellows are expected to be in office Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm for a total of 28 hours per week. This position is a 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension or full-time employment.
