About the role: Join Oblique Eyewear and be part of a modern independent eyewear brand. We are looking for a passionate Optometrist / Optician to join our team at Oblique Eyewear, Orchard Central. At Oblique, we believe eyewear is more than just vision correction — it is also about design, individuality and personal style.
Key responsibilities: Conduct eye examinations and refractions Perform accurate prescription measurements and provide professional vision advice Dispense spectacles and recommend suitable lenses based on customers' visual needs and lifestyle Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their prescription, face shape and personal style Handle contact lens fitting and related consultations Carry out frame adjustments, measurements and basic troubleshooting Advise customers on lens options, coatings and lens technologies Provide professional after-sales service and follow-up Maintain a high standard of customer experience and optical care Work closely with the team to maintain the store's presentation and service standards
About you: Qualified and registered Optometrist or Optician in Singapore Candidates with relevant optical retail experience are preferred Strong refraction and dispensing skills Good communication and customer service skills Passionate about eyewear, fashion and design Detail-oriented and able to work independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn Junior candidates with the right attitude are also welcome to apply
