Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking an Administrative Technician (1189)to deliver trauma-informed care and supervision to adults (18+) across Amarillo and the surrounding service area of the Texas Panhandle. This role is ideal for human services graduates looking to gain direct clinical experience in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma-informed care language. Manage and supervise staff who provide direct care of individuals attending the Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS)/Day Habilitation program. Provide supervision and care to clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)Hire, train, and supervise assigned direct care staff. Attend meetings and collaborate with the team and clients to create strategies, and plans for each client to reach their goals in the program. Complete necessary documentation within requested timelines Meet established productivity standards. Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns when ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised. Qualifications & Credentials: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record. At least 18 years of age. Employees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA). Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus. American Sign Language proficiency is a strong plus.1 to 3 years of direct staff supervision, team leadership, or program management experience. Direct care background involving hands-on service delivery or care coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience coordinating and assisting in the arts and crafts, music, education, and recreation activities. Ability to provide training, maintain records, and communicate effectively. Ability to interact easily with people in a variety of situations and settings. Ability to communicate orally and in writing and have basic computer skills.
