About the role

Finance Manager A growing construction and restoration organization is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team. The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project financial analysis, and overall financial performance. Experience in construction, accounting, finance, or a related industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead annual budgeting and financial planning in partnership with company leadership
  • Prepare regular projections and forecasts of company and team financial results
  • Monitor SG&A and overhead costs and support overall cost control initiatives
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Support Controller-level responsibilities, including gathering, validating, and assisting with monthly financial statements
  • Provide reporting and analysis related to project performance, labor efficiency, and estimating history
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of job cost data
  • Manage accounting, reporting, and financial technology systems used to collect and communicate business data
  • Project & Operational Financial Leadership
  • Serve as a finance leader, thought partner, and advisor to leadership and Operations
  • Partner with Operations to identify, communicate, and mitigate project and business risks as early as possible
  • Support cash management activities, including monitoring company cash position, collections, and vendor payments
  • Identify opportunities to improve labor efficiency, operational costs, and administrative processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial and operational functions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Business, or a related field5–10 years of experience in a similar finance role or applicable precursor positions preferred
  • Experience within the construction industry strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and project/job cost analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with Operations and senior leadershipMBA is a plus
  • Occasional travel required
