Also, our regional clients have the unique benefit of hiring one landscape vendor for multiple locations.About the RoleLandscape Workshop is growing exponentially and is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and generate new commercial business opportunities within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building connections, developing prospects into long-term clients, and driving growth through a strategic and consultative approach. The Business Development Manager will manage the full sales cycle, present tailored service solutions, close commercial maintenance contracts, and partner closely with operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.This position is responsible for and expected to travel within NOVA (Northern Virginia) territory. This territory includes: Fairfax County, Prince Edward County, Gaithersburg, Baltimore, Silver Spring, Glenwood, Howard County & Montgomery County. What You'll Be DoingOwn the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development and contract closeDrive branch growth by identifying and securing new commercial maintenance clientsBuild a strong pipeline through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and strategic prospectingDevelop meaningful relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makersPresent customized service solutions that address client needs and create long-term valueCollaborate with operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience and successful service deliveryMaintain accurate pipeline activity and sales forecasting using CRM tools and established sales processesWhat We're Looking ForExperience in B2B outside sales or business development, preferably within the commercial services industryDemonstrated success identifying prospects and converting opportunities into long-term clientsConsultative sales experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentWorking knowledge of CRM systems and sales pipeline management toolsSkills & Tools to SucceedStrategic, consultative selling skills with a customer-focused mindsetStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilitiesAbility to identify client challenges and recommend effective service solutionsProven relationship-building skills with commercial decision-makersExperience utilizing CRM tools and systemsFlexibility to travel throughout an assigned territoryExceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
