This role will lead relationships for select health clients, serve as the Consulting Actuary for all deliverables and manage large, complex client projects. The Health & Group Benefits Consulting Actuary will manage/oversee the marketing and vendor search process for potentially all lines of coverage, with a focus on medical and pharmacy coverage. This role is entrusted to leverage expertise and experience to build and strengthen relationships, representing the practice with key customers, prospects, providers, and other market stakeholders. Community Highlights The Health & Group Benefits Consulting Actuary is a hybrid role from one of the following offices: Portland, Irvine, Walnut Creek, Seattle, New York, or New Jersey. These regions are known for entertainment, culture, arts, fabulous dining and shopping. All locations are close to major airports for ease of travel. Background Profile 10+ years of experience with multiemployer health actuarial and consulting services Expertise in benefits design, delivery and strategy Superior leadership and client engagement skills Health and life insurance license preferredASA, MAAA (minimum)Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
