Role: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer / Admin / ArchitectLocation: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)Duration: W2 Long term contractJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion / Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect to design, architect, and support resilient enterprise integration solutions across Oracle Fusion applications and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Fusion SCM and HCM, and extensive experience with XSLT, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP services, and hybrid integration architectures. This role combines solution architecture, integration engineering, technical leadership, and production support responsibilities. The Architect will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance solutions while establishing integration standards, reusable patterns, and architectural applications.Design and implement robust integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Develop scalable integration patterns using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, APIs, and database integrations.Define reference architectures for hybrid environments connecting on-premises systems with Oracle Fusion Cloud and OCI services.Lead solution architecture for API-led, event-driven, synchronous, asynchronous, and batch integration patterns.Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs.Provide technical leadership to development and integration teams throughout implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.Design and enforce OIC integration standards, reusable frameworks, templates, naming conventions, and governance practices.Review and optimize XSLT transformations, XML schemas, JSON payloads, mappings, and integration orchestration.Architect secure integration solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, SSO, certificates, and appropriate security controls.Design and oversee OIC Connectivity Agent architecture, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Manage and support OIC environments including DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident-response strategies for integration platforms.Troubleshoot production integration failures, performance issues, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies.Perform root-cause analysis and develop long-term corrective and preventive solutions.Define non-functional requirements covering performance, scalability, availability, resiliency, security, and maintainability.Collaborate with SCM and HCM functional teams to ensure technical architecture supports end-to-end business processes.Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and enterprise architecture teams on hybrid connectivity and integration requirements.Support CI/CD, release management, environment migrations, and deployment automation using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.Ensure integration solutions align with SOX, security, compliance, audit, and enterprise governance requirements.Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, integration documents, runbooks, and operational procedures.Lead architecture reviews and provide design guidance to project teams and stakeholders.Evaluate Oracle Cloud roadmap developments and recommend modernization opportunities and platform improvements.Required Qualifications10–14 years of progressive experience in enterprise application architecture, integration, or middleware engineering.Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, particularly SCM and HCM.Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion integration capabilities and middleware architecture.Advanced proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, XPath, and data transformation.Experience with REST and SOAP web services and API integration.Strong knowledge of integration patterns, orchestration, transformation, messaging, and middleware architecture.Experience with SQL and database integrations.Hands-on experience with OIC Connectivity Agent setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Strong debugging, production support, RCA, and performance-tuning capabilities.Experience with OIC administration, environment management, security, monitoring, and deployments.Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable CI/CD technologies.Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and enterprise connectivity.Knowledge of OCI networking and communication, including connectivity between OCI resources and external/on-premises systems.Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.Ability to operate effectively across both strategic architecture and hands-on engineering responsibilities.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and technical leadership skills.Preferred QualificationsOracle Integration Cloud certification.Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience, particularly networking and hybrid connectivity.Experience with Oracle ERP, EPM, EDM, or additional Oracle Fusion modules.Utility industry experience.Experience modernizing legacy middleware/integrations into cloud-native architectures.Experience with enterprise API management and event-driven architectures.Strong understanding of SOX, security, compliance, and audit requirements.Core Technical SkillsOracle: OIC,
