Fertilizer Lawn Care Technician Wilmington, MA 01887 Masis Staffing is hiring a Fertilizer Lawn Care Technician to support a local landscape/lawn care team in Wilmington, MA. This role focuses on applying fertilizer and weed control treatments, maintaining application equipment, and completing accurate service documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and other lawn care treatments according to product labels, schedules, and safety requirements Calibrate and operate fertilizer spreaders, backpack sprayers, and related equipment Inspect lawns/turf for weeds, pests, disease, or signs of stress and report concerns to a supervisor Perform lawn care services including fertilization, weed control, aeration, and other turf maintenance tasks Monitor weather conditions and adjust applications as needed Safely load, transport, handle, and store lawn care products following regulations and company procedures Clean and maintain equipment; ensure spreaders/sprayers remain properly calibrated Complete service records, application reports, and material usage logs accurately Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic lawn-care questions when appropriate Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Participate in training and safety meetings Work independently and with the maintenance team to complete daily routes/assignments
