About the role
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks as needed.
- Operate stretch wrap machines.
- Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods including operating scanners or handheld devices used to move and track items.
- Prepare and complete orders for shipping according to the schedule.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Computer-based order picking in cooler or freezer environment.
- Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and shipped.
- Check in and sign out drivers in log.
- Inventory cycle-counting
- Check in raw materials, packaging supplies, and other deliveries according to procedures.
- Label all incoming materials according to procedures.
- Stock production lines with needed materials.
- Keep warehouse areas interior and exterior clean and organized. Daily cleaning will be required.
- Flexibility to work off-shifts, including days or nights, weekends, or holidays.
- Good communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbalPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a Full Time, permanent position
- Non-Exempt position 40 hours per week, and it may require working additional hours depending on business need requirements.
