About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The COO will be responsible for the operational leadership and performance of the organization's clinical operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with the company's goals. This includes leading the transformation of care delivery in response to changing healthcare and reimbursement environments, and maintaining a strong presence across clinical sites to address operational challenges. The successful candidate will be a highly visible and engaged leader, with a focus on building strong relationships and translating strategy into sustainable operational practices. Key responsibilities for the COO include establishing and monitoring operational targets, leveraging data to drive improvements, and leading the implementation of new approaches to care delivery and technology. The role also involves partnering with executive leaders to ensure financial sustainability and compliance, as well as leading complex operational initiatives and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and executive leadership experience, with at least 10 years in healthcare operations. Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or similar environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading integrated clinical operations, improving clinical quality and operational performance, and leading significant transformation initiatives. Strong operational and financial acumen, project management skills, and the ability to lead change and innovation are essential. The COO will also be expected to have a deep understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations, and experience with technology and workflow innovation to enhance efficiency and the patient and provider experience.
