About the role
- Review and analyze material delivery systems to determine efficient utilization of associates and equipment.
- Develop engineered standards geared toward improving productivity and efficiency.
- Support recommendations and assumptions through industry benchmarks.
- Analyze and design value-added process and procedure improvements for warehouse management.
- Provide ROI and needs-analysis regarding selection, purchase, and installation of material handling equipment.
- Maintain and verify current material handling databases.
- Troubleshoot current material handling systems. Assist with preparation of department budget; coordinate budget expenses
- Order sub-material and equipment for department including cost analysis, approval, purchase request, follow-up and entering/maintaining order data in SAP.Coordinate and maintain inventory
