Job Description Job Description**Position is located in West Point, Nebraska**
The Bookkeeper / Office Administrator will be responsible for bookkeeping functions, financial recordkeeping, office administration, client communication, and general operational support. This individual will work closely with management and serve as an important point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping Duties
For Clients:
Record and maintain financial transactions accurately.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Process invoices and vendor payments.
Assist with payroll preparation and reporting.
Maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
Work with accountants during tax preparation and audits.
Organize and maintain files and records.
Office Administration Duties
Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries.Greet clients.Manage incoming and outgoing mail.Maintain office supplies and equipment.Assist with data entry and general administrative projects.Support management with various operational tasks.Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of bookkeeping and/or office administration experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Experience in [industry-specific experience if applicable].Payroll processing experience.Knowledge of basic HR and employee recordkeeping.Desired Skills
