Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician will support the retail pharmacy team through accurate medication dispensing, prescription processing, and customer assistance. Reporting to the pharmacist, pharmacy supervisor, or lead technician, this role ensures efficient pharmacy operations and excellent service. The technician will also manage inventory ordering and data entry using proprietary pharmacy software, collaborating closely with team members to maintain regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. No travel is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately in a retail pharmacy setting
- Process prescriptions following pharmacy guidelines
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service
- Order and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently
- Enter data into proprietary pharmacy software with precision
- Collaborate with pharmacists, supervisors, and team members
Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Pharmacy Technology
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Experience with medication dispensing and inventory management
- Proficiency with pharmacy software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and regulatory compliance knowledge
