Opening soon in downtown Corona del Mar, Moonbow Gallery is a new destination for independent fine jewelry brands, bringing together a highly curated collection of distinctive designers in an intimate, conceptual setting. We are looking for someone excited about joining a new business at its beginning and helping shape the experience, visual identity, and personality of Moonbow as it grows. We are seeking a polished, personable, and creative Part-Time Social Media Manager & Designer Fine Jewelry Sales Stylist to join us as we prepare to open our doors. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Moonbow from the beginning and help build both our social media presence and in-store client experience.
The Role: This is a position that combines social media management and content creation with designer fine jewelry sales. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in fine jewelry, fashion, design, and luxury retail and is equally comfortable creating elevated digital content and working directly with clients.
Responsibilities will include: Managing and helping develop Moonbow Gallery's social media presence Creating and posting thoughtful, visually compelling content for Instagram and other social channels Photographing and filming jewelry, new arrivals, store moments, events, and behind-the-scenes content Creating Instagram Stories, Reels, and other short-form content Helping establish Moonbow's social media voice and visual presence leading up to and following the store opening Responding to basic social media inquiries and assisting with digital client engagement Providing warm, knowledgeable, high-touch service to clients Assisting clients with jewelry selection, styling, and purchases Developing relationships with new and returning clients Learning the stories, craftsmanship, and collections of Moonbow's independent designers Maintaining the presentation and organization of jewelry and displays Supporting special events, designer appearances, trunk shows, and other store initiatives Who We're Looking For Previous professional experience managing social media accounts is required Strong content creation skills, particularly for Instagram Experience creating and editing Reels, Stories, photography, and short-form video content Strong sense of style, aesthetics, branding, and visual presentation Polished, personable, professional, and comfortable interacting with luxury clientele Genuine interest in fine jewelry, fashion, art, or design Strong written and verbal communication skills Reliable, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently in a small boutique environment Previous luxury retail, fine jewelry, fashion, or other high-end client-facing sales experience is preferred Fine jewelry sales experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate Portfolio or examples of social media/content work required Compensation$25–$28 per hour, depending on experience plus additional sales "bonuses" ranging from $100-$600 based on the final net sale value of each individual piece sold Schedule Part-time: approximately 20–30 hours per week Position is in-store at Moonbow Gallery in Corona del Mar Weekend availability and occasional availability for special events may be required To Apply Please submit your résumé along with a brief introduction telling us about yourself and why you're interested in Moonbow Gallery.
