About the role
OVERVIEW:
The candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and ensure the optimal performance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and repair pumps and pump motors. Assist in maintenance and repair of other mechanical equipment such as valves, clarifier and screen house systems, and chlorination equipment. Assists in the operation of equipment such as pumps, bar screens, clarifiers, digestors, sludge pumps, aerators, chlorinators, and control panels. Make readings and recordings of temperature, electric meters, weather conditions, and quantity of sludge removed. Check operating equipment for malfunctions. Performs general maintenance required to keep working areas safe, clean, and neat.
REQUIREMENTS:
Hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Customer-focused mindset and ability to maintain strong relationships.
