  • Job Description Santa Teresa, New Mexico Jobsite Location
  • Pay rates- $65 to $70 an hour
  • Per diem $150 a day X 7 days
  • Will be working 6- 7 days a week10-12 hour days
  • New Hires :If a candidate has a NM license, the new hire rate is $70/hr.
  • Texas JW will remain $65/hr (all other positions stay the same) but please mention that as soon as they have proof of NM license (see below), their rate will be adjusted
  • Current Employees:(Site team)
Testing: Texas Journeyman or any eligible Employee (this means anyone with the requirements to test ie: TX JW, Tradesmen, Helpers, etc) If they take their NM license test, it will be considered an excused absence whether they pass or fail and they will not lose their per diem for the day. If they pass the test and can provide proof of passing, they will receive a $500.00 bonus At time of proof of a passed test, they will be adjusted to $70/hr. NM requires only 8,000 hours of documented on the job experience and no schooling is required, so this possibly gives multiple people the opportunity to get their journeyman license and receive an increase in pay. (I've also attached the form for hours documentation)I've attached a document from PSI on what the requirements are. Reciprocity (same application as above which is attached):If a JW has the ability to reciprocate with NM (such as Texas and Colorado), they will be adjusted to $70/hr when the following conditions are provided: A copy of their NM reciprocity application Receipt/proof of payment Proof of how the application was sent (UPS receipt, tracking number, mailing confirmation, etc)PER DIEM $150 per day Santa Teresa New Mexico
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform installations, startups, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance for electrical systems per drawings and codes.
Execute First Time Energization (FTE), switching, AutoLOTO, load bank connections/removals, and Level 3-5 commissioning support. Read and interpret blueprints, one line diagrams, schematics, and installation plans; lay out conduit, cable tray, and devices. Follow approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and company safety protocols; maintain accurate work records and service documentation. Support and mentor apprentices; coordinate with Foreman, Superintendents, project management, and clients. Diagnose issues, respond to service calls, recommend improvements, and complete acceptance testing. Participate in post project reviews and incorporate lessons learned.
Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 7+ years of commercial/industrial experience; successful apprenticeship required. Seeking New Mexico state electrical licensing in good standing or reciprocal licensing from AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, or WY.Familiarity with data center systems, transfer schemes, switchgear, controllers, and pneumatic/electrical process controls. Proficient reading blueprints, one line diagrams, risers, and electrical schematics. Skilled with conduit bending tools, cable tray layout, device trim, and load bank operations. Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; able to work independently as required. Must be 18+ and able to pass pre employment drug screen and background checks. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Regular onsite work in construction environments; exposure to varying temperatures, noise, heights, and confined spaces. Frequent climbing, lifting (up to 50lbs), standing, walking on uneven terrain, stooping, kneeling, and use of respirator when required.
