About the role

The Wiregrass Museum of Art needs help with their free community event, The Pumpkin Patch Family Art Festival, happening on Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 - 2:00 pm. This is our biggest event of the year (we had over 2500 folks come out last year!). We also need help before the event with set up on Friday, October 16th, and Sunday, October 18th. Volunteer spots include everything from set up, managing art activity stations, attending to the front desk and glass pumpkin shop, and clean up. Anything helps! And around helping at the event, volunteers are welcome to enjoy the live glass blowing demonstration, free admission to the museum to see the current art exhibitions, participate in the art activities, free lemonade and popcorn, and there will be food trucks on site for those who wish to purchase more substantial fare. Costumes are welcome and encouraged, but not required.
