Opportunity Overview
DNA Partners is conducting a search on behalf of a nationally recognized law firm for an accomplished Senior Real Estate Attorney to join its thriving New York office. This role is ideally suited for a seasoned real estate practitioner with substantial commercial leasing experience who is seeking sophisticated transactional work, direct client engagement, and a leadership position within a premier real estate practice.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with institutional landlords, developers, investors, and property owners on some of the market's most complex and high-profile real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead negotiations and draft a broad range of retail, office, and commercial lease agreements.
Advise clients on complex real estate transactions and strategic business objectives.
Handle sophisticated leasing matters on behalf of landlords, developers, and property owners.
Support acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and related due diligence efforts.
Provide practical guidance on transaction structure, risk assessment, and legal strategy.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted business advisor.
Partner with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active admission to the New York Bar.
8+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
Extensive commercial leasing experience, with a strong preference for landlord-side representation.
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and related transactional matters.
Outstanding drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex matters and client relationships.
Strong commercial judgment and a client-focused approach to legal practice.
