About the role
To support an integrated deterrence strategy, the part-time PhD Geopolitical Analyst will create analyses focused on the China-Taiwan issue, utilizing expertise in geopolitics and logistics while working remotely or in Monterey, CA.
Key responsibilities:
Create analysis to support military deterrence and national power strategies related to the China-Taiwan issue
Conduct various forms of analysis, including wargame analysis and campaign analysis, to interpret data on regional conflicts
Provide technical advice and serve as co-principal investigator for research projects associated with the China-Taiwan issues
Required qualifications:
PhD in Geopolitics or a related subject
In-depth study of the China-Taiwan issue within the past 5 years
Current Secret Clearance
Ability to travel occasionally
