Engagement Overview: Blue Valley Cabinets is seeking a results-driven Independent Sales Contractor to promote and sell our shaker-style and frameless cabinets and closets. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. The contractor will focus on developing business relationships within commercial and residential markets, generating sales opportunities, and delivering customized solutions for contractors, builders, and dealers in new construction and remodeling. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong sales experience and a passion for design, functionality, and business development. Scope of Work The Independent Contractor will: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market presence Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and industry engagement Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, designers, and other stakeholders Present product offerings and solutions tailored to client needs Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations Manage negotiations and secure sales agreements Provide ongoing client support during the sales process Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments Contract Terms Classification: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: Commission-based / performance-based (details provided upon engagement)
Location: Flexible; contractor determines work location Schedule: Contractor determines their own schedule and work hours
Duration: Ongoing contract based on performance and mutual agreement
Independent Contractor Responsibilities: Operate as an independent business entity Provide your own tools, equipment, transportation, and resources Determine your own methods, schedule, and approach to achieving results Maintain any applicable licenses, certifications, or insurance Submit invoices for payment in accordance with agreed terms Responsible for all federal, state, and local tax obligations
