About the role
Wire Material Handler WantedWe are looking for dependable Wire Room Operators to join our team. This position involves measuring, spooling, bundling, and preparing large quantities of wire for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Responsibilities:
Accurately measure and spool wire according to specifications.
Bundle and organize wire for shipping.
Inspect measurements and finished bundles for accuracy.
Move and stage materials using a forklift.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines.
Perform other warehouse and production duties as needed.
Requirements:
1+ year of sit-down and stand-up forklift experience required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring.
Ability to lift and pull 50+ lbs.
Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work the 9:00 PM5:30 AM overnight shift.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Previous wire, cable, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
