About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Director, Information Technology (IT) to lead our enterprise technology organization and drive the execution of our technology strategy. This executive leader will be responsible for modernizing and scaling IT capabilities, ensuring secure and reliable operations, and enabling business growth through technology innovation and digital transformation. The Senior Director, IT will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, aligning technology investments with business priorities while fostering a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What You'll DoStrategic Technology Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and long-term business objectives. Partner with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities where technology can accelerate growth, improve efficiency, and enhance employee and customer experiences. Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and technology modernization efforts. Establish governance, standards, and best practices that support scalability, security, and operational excellence.
IT Operations & Service Delivery:
Oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, end-user computing, and IT support services.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of technology systems and services.
Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience planning.
Drive continuous improvement through service management best practices and performance metrics.
Cybersecurity & Risk ManagementDevelop and maintain a robust cybersecurity strategy that safeguards company assets, systems, and data.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements.
Lead risk assessments, vulnerability management programs, and incident response activities.
Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Business Applications & Technology Enablement:
Oversee the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise business systems and applications.
Partner with business leaders to improve processes through automation, integration, and technology solutions.
Drive adoption of innovative technologies that enhance productivity and business outcomes.
Financial & Vendor ManagementDevelop and manage IT operating and capital budgets.
Evaluate technology investments and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
Negotiate contracts and manage licensing, procurement, and vendor performance.
Leadership & Talent Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals and technology leaders.
Build an inclusive culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Develop succession plans and create opportunities for employee growth and advancement.
Drive engagement and organizational effectiveness across the IT function.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including responsibility for enterprise technology functions.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across infrastructure, operations, applications, cybersecurity, and support services.
Proven success developing and executing technology strategies that support business growth and transformation.
Strong experience with cloud technologies, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
Experience managing significant budgets, technology investments, and vendor relationships.
Excellent communication, executive influence, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (MBA, MIS, Computer Science, or related discipline).Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, AWS, Azure, or equivalent. Experience leading large-scale technology modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
