SSHO | Washington DC | $90,000–$125,000 + Executive Benefits (Night-shift)Renewyx are partnering with a federal general contractor on a government building roof repair project in Washington DC to source a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) working on a night project in DC.The SSHO will serve as the contractor's designated competent person for safety, present on-site at all times during active construction and fully responsible for safety management from mobilisation through to project completion.𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲:You will implement and administer the project Accident Prevention Plan and all Activity Hazard Analyses, conduct daily inspections and weekly toolbox talks, and maintain compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926. You will also manage incident investigation and reporting, coordinate with the Contracting Officer and Government Safety Representative, and oversee fall protection, scaffold safety, and occupant protection throughout the project.𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:• Minimum five years of progressive construction safety experience• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification and Competent Person Training• EM 385-1-1 Construction Safety Hazard Awareness certification• USACE CQM for Contractors Certification• Demonstrated experience preparing and administering APPs and AHAs on federal or occupied-facility projects𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:• $90,000–$125,000 base salary• Washington DC, fully on-site from 7pm-5am 4 days a week• Federal project environment with strong scope for future work If you are interested or would like further information, please get in touch.
