About the Role: Our client is seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their established team in George. This role is essential for ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of pharmaceutical products manufactured by the company. You will perform a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with stringent regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped laboratory, contributing to the overall quality assurance framework and supporting the company's commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards before it reaches the patient.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples using various laboratory techniques. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Document all testing activities meticulously in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory guidelines. Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Review and approve analytical data and reports for raw materials and finished products. Participate in method validation and transfer activities as required.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline. Proven experience as a Quality Control Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and titration. Thorough understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a regulated environment.
