Accounting Manager | DMV Construction Leader | Direct Path to Senior Leadership Lead the financial engine of a 30-year, family-owned industry leader in crushed stone, recycled concrete, sand, and gravel serving Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia, DC, and Baltimore.
Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000, plus excellent benefits and a performance bonus
The Role:
  • Lead a team of 4 and report directly to the owner (Temple Hills, MD)
  • Own the monthly close, job costing, 13-week cash-flow forecasting, AR/AP, and audit and tax readiness
  • Help evaluate and implement new job-cost software
  • You Bring
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in leadership
  • Advanced Excel and QuickBooks or similar ERPConstruction or heavy materials experience preferred
  • A plus: unit cost accounting and ERP implementation experience
