Law Firm Job Contextual Overview Amazon is seeking a talented attorney for a Corporate Counsel role within the Amazon Pharmacy team. This position involves a dynamic mix of transactional work, product counseling, compliance, and regulatory advising to support foundational technology efforts, new business initiatives, and customer-facing healthcare products and services. Key Eligibility Criteria Minimum of 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience. Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Active membership in at least one state bar or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include a mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience, regulatory law background, transactional and technology licensing experience, and familiarity with the healthcare industry or other highly regulated fields. Responsibilities & Scope of Work Provide strategic legal counsel to senior business leaders on a broad range of legal and business matters. Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across multiple business lines and jurisdictions. Develop and implement legal strategies supporting business objectives while mitigating risk. Advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and emerging legal issues. Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements. Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders across clinical, technology, compliance, risk, and healthcare teams.
