Our team thrives on collaboration, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence._____________________________________________________________________________________________________Position Summary The Engineering Manager leads Breeo’s engineering and product development function, ensuring new and existing products are innovative, manufacturable, high-quality, and delivered on schedule. This role leads the engineering team from initial product concept through production while partnering closely with Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and Marketing.
Responsibilities: Lead & Manage the Engineering Team: Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Product Design Engineers and engineering resources, establishing priorities, developing talent, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to Breeo standards. New Product Development & Innovation: Own the engineering process from concept through production, including product design, CAD, prototyping, testing, validation, and production launch. Design for Manufacturing & Engineering Support: Ensure products are designed for efficient, scalable manufacturing while supporting Production with tooling, fixtures, equipment, process improvements, and technical problem-solving. Product Quality & Continuous Improvement: Drive product performance, reliability, and quality through testing, root-cause analysis, engineering improvements, and ongoing cost and design optimization. Engineering Systems & Project Execution: Own engineering documentation and processes, including BOMs, drawings, specifications, ECR/ECO changes, project timelines, priorities, and cross-functional communication to ensure engineering projects are executed effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Supervisor Experience in managing a small team.
  • Passionate about designing products in the outdoor space
  • Experience with mechanical design work and knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Fusion 360)
  • Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing & Sales to support products.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and directing teams of people to complete these projects.
  • Ability to utilize design for manufacturing & other engineering concepts.

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
